Born and raised amidst the vibrant art, folklore, and rich mythology of Bali, Indonesia, William Orbei discovered a lifelong passion for drawing. He draws deep inspiration from enchanting myths—especially celestial tales of how stars influence human destiny, with each constellation carrying its own mythical lore.These whimsical ideas, myths, and poetic narratives led William to dive into the world of illustration, officially launching his journey as a children's book illustrator in 2022. He began his path by volunteering for a non-profit children's literacy foundation.Today, William remains dedicated to expanding his artistic vision, constantly weaving magical, poetic, and fairytale-like tones into his illustrations.I would love to collaborate on new and exciting projects.
